Here at Harmony Turbines, the testing we've been doing in the wind tunnel has brought to light both improvements that needed to be made as well as some very exciting potential upgrades. The improvements will help us to better approximate performance of our turbines at full-scale, and the exciting potential upgrades center around just how profound the performance difference can be with very small adjustments to scoop geometry. Now that we're finally starting to get more consistent, predictable and repeatable results, we have a path forward to the upgrades we can effect to hopefully bring us improved turbine performance in our full-sized models. This update shows some of our recent improvements and discusses just why these improvements are necessary.
Most companies don't share this part of their R&D process with their community because R&D isn't always successful in the early stages. It can be a slow and painstaking process.
