Hi everyone, just a quick update. One of the things we’re actively working on is getting our two ALPHA units installed on top of our shipping container. We designed our mounts, ordered material, machined parts, and welded everything into place. We also added stabilizing material to our container. We’re now ready to install our ALPHA units and plan to do so within the next week or two!

The last time we sent out an update about the shipping container, a surprising number of you contacted us with ideas about how to weigh down and level the container and the turbines. We’re amazed by how involved our community is. Thank you for your interest in what we’re doing!  Anyway, you can’t see it very well in the pictures but the mounting structure we designed will allow us to easily level our turbines so there should be no need to perfectly level our whole container.

Just as a reminder, since we haven’t reached production or revenue yet, investments are what will continue carrying us through BETA testing and into early low-volume production.
