Meet the Team Driving Harmony Turbines Forward
Cheryl Moore
Cheryl brings a diverse and impressive background to her role as Chief Operations Officer at Harmony Turbines. With a BS in Human Resources and an MS in IT, she has over 13 years of experience in HR and another 9 years in IT, blending technical expertise with people-focused leadership. Before Harmony, Cheryl owned and operated two businesses: Cupcake Foundry, a home-based baking venture, and Somehow Healthy, a food truck offering whole-food snacks and smoothies. These experiences, combined with her professional career, have equipped Cheryl with a unique perspective on entrepreneurship, analytics, and operations.
As COO, Cheryl oversees the operational backbone of Harmony Turbines. From managing bookkeeping and compliance to hiring and onboarding employees, she ensures the company runs smoothly and efficiently. Cheryl’s responsibilities also include handling taxes, benefits, audits, and content management, as well as communicating transparently with investors and the community. Her hands-on leadership ensures that employees are supported, deadlines are met, and Harmony’s mission continues to move forward. One of her proudest achievements is helping build a dedicated and talented team working toward a shared goal.
Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys handcrafting, with a newfound passion for crochet, and learning about health, well-being, and homesteading techniques like food preservation. A missionary kid who grew up in Guatemala, she cherishes her multicultural background and love for music. Whether she’s listening to music, humming off-key or dreaming of returning to the piano and clarinet, Cheryl’s creativity and curiosity bring a special energy to her work.
Cheryl was inspired to join Harmony Turbines after seeing her husband Chris’s vision for how his invention could transform the world. Realizing she had the skills to contribute more than moral support, Cheryl eagerly stepped into her role. She is excited about the potential of Harmony’s turbines to create meaningful change for investors, employees, and society, and she looks forward to seeing the company’s mission come to life.
Stay tuned next week to meet another member of our team!
